'The larger the order the better the price' - the 'economy of scale' argument with which we wholeheartedly agree. So if you know that you have a long-term requirement for a product why not place a cumulative, non-cancellable, order with deliveries (and invoices) scheduled over 3, 6 or even 12 months and we will agree a price that will reflect the overall quantity, plus a delivery schedule to match your production needs. Even though it may mean us forward buying to guarantee fulfilment over the agreed period, this we are happy to do.
But why only forward-order one or two product lines - why not order your complete production kit?
Kitting
If you give us your full Bill of Materials (BOM) for your complete production run then not only will you, almost certainly, obtain a more competitive overall price but, by making just one call to A-TEC and placing just one purchase order with us, it will remove the need for you to make numerous, time-consuming, telephone calls to a myriad of suppliers.
Your 'Kit' will arrive with all line items separately bagged or boxed and item labelled with your company name, purchase order, your company part number plus manufacturers part number, full item description and even the board location - all ready for immediate production use.
Once everything is delivered you will receive just one, single line, invoice thereby saving numerous Accounts to Suppliers queries and discussions and the necessity to make multi-supplier payments - the ultimate solution to vendor reduction.
Scheduling gives you the advantages of economies of scale.
Kitting gives you a cost effective route to efficient procurement.
